A group of participants from the “2025 Future Close-Up” Project that organized by China International Communications Group (CICG) and Chinese tech giant Tencent, consisted of 16 young professionals from 14 countries and regions, including China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Australia and Brazil, visited the HKUST on June 25, allowing them to comprehensively experience China's development achievements in scientific and technological innovation, especially in GBA region.
The delegation visited the HKUST Library and the BASE of HKUST Entrepreneurship Centre during their campus tour, followed by an introduction of the University and MBA Program, by Prof. Stephen Shih, the Associate Dean of Business and Management (MBA Programs). The group of young professionals are very passionate about the latest tech for good innovations, and conclude their visit with a visit to the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Displays and Optoelectronics Technologies and the Von Neumann Institute, by learning about latest technologies in display related areas, AI in robotics for assembly and AI for manufacturing, etc.
